Hillel on the Roof in the Snow
הלל על הגג בשלג
Too poor to pay the guard, Hillel climbs onto the roof of the beis medrash to listen at the skylight - and the snow falls all night. The Gemara's story of a grown, hard-working man who wanted Torah more than warmth.
In a Torah Tale book, your own child is the hero of this story - drawn from their photo, on every page, in their own name. Written under rabbinical guidance with strict tznius, printed and shipped to your door in English, Hebrew or Yiddish.
