- What is Torah Tale?
- Torah Tale creates personalized, beautifully illustrated Torah story books where your child becomes the star of the parsha. Each book is made one at a time with your child's name, appearance, and story details.
- What ages are the books for?
- Our books are designed for children ages 0-15 - even the newest baby can star in their own story. Sturdy board books suit babies and toddlers (ages 0-4), softcovers are perfect for ages 4-8, and hardcovers for ages 5-15.
- Are the stories accurate to the Torah?
- Yes! Every story is carefully crafted with rabbinical guidance to stay true to the parsha, with tznius-mindful illustrations and a clear middos lesson - engaging and age-appropriate for children.
Orders and shipping
- How long does shipping take?
- In the United States, standard shipping is $3.00 and takes 5-8 business days; express is $6.00 and takes 3 business days. To Israel, standard is $5.95 and takes 9-14 business days; express is $10.00 and takes 5-8 business days.
- Do you ship internationally?
- Yes - we ship worldwide, straight to your door.
- Can I track my order?
- Yes! Once your book ships, you'll receive a tracking number via email. You can also check your order status in My Dashboard.
The books
- How many pages are in each book?
- Each book has 10 beautifully illustrated story pages, plus a personalized cover and a fun review-questions page at the end.
- What do the illustrations look like?
- Every Torah Tale is illustrated in a warm, ultra high-resolution 3D Pixar style - rich, movie-quality scenes with cinematic lighting, and your child rendered consistently on every page.
- What book formats are available?
- A softcover photo book (8″×8″), a premium hardcover photo book (8″×8″, in square or landscape), and a sturdy 6″×6″ board book for little hands. You can also add a matching 8.5″×11″ coloring book of the same story.
- What languages are available?
- Every book can be created in English, Hebrew, or Yiddish - and you can order the same story in more than one language.
- Can I see the book before it's printed?
- Every book is personally reviewed and quality-checked by our team before it goes to print, so you don't need to. You'll receive a quick peek of your book by email as soon as it ships - and the full keepsake arrives at your door.
Billing
- What payment methods do you accept?
- We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) and digital wallets.
- How does the subscription work?
- Choose the Parsha Series - 4 books a month, aligned with the weekly parsha and Yomim Tovim, shipped together in one delivery - or a Year Bundle with two months free. You can cancel anytime from My Dashboard.
Customization
- Can I customize my child's appearance?
- Yes! Upload one clear, front-facing photo and we create an illustrated character that looks just like your child on every page. You can add up to eight siblings to the same book - with a big family, each page stars a few of them in turn, so every child gets their moments.
- Can I choose which parsha to use?
- Yes - next week's parsha is suggested automatically, with a countdown to the order deadline so the book arrives before that Shabbos, or browse the whole library: Chumash, Nevi'im and Kesuvim, the Yamim Tovim, Jewish Life, Mitzvos and Stories of Tzadikim. On double-parsha weeks, one book covers both.
Returns
- What is your return policy?
- Since each book is custom-made, we don't accept returns. However, if there's a printing defect or quality issue, we'll gladly reprint and reship your book at no cost.
- What if I'm not happy with the illustrations?
- Our team reviews and fine-tunes every book before it's printed. If your printed book still isn't right, contact us at help@torahtale.com and we'll work with you to make it right.
