Data Deletion

You can ask Torah Tale to delete your account and your family's data at any time.

Delete it yourself

Sign in, open your dashboard, then Settings, Account, and tap "Delete my account and data". We show any book already at the printer, then you type DELETE to confirm and get a confirmation code.

Or ask us by email

Email help@torahtale.com from the address on your account with the subject "Delete my data". We reply with your confirmation code.

Facebook, Apple or Google sign in

Signed in with Facebook? Remove Torah Tale in Facebook: Settings and privacy, Settings, Apps and websites, Torah Tale, Remove. Facebook tells us automatically and shows you a confirmation code that links back to this page. Removing Apple or Google access stops sign in but does not ask us to delete anything, so also use the button or email us.

What we delete

• Your account: name, email address and sign in.
• Your children's names, ages and photos, and family members you added with their photos.
• Character sheets drawn from those photos.
• Every book picture and draft, and every unpaid book.
• Saved addresses and gift messages.
• Email settings; you are taken off every sign up email series and cart reminder.

What we must keep

• Order and payment records for tax and accounting, anonymized: name, email, address and photos removed.
• Books already at the printer or shipped: still printed and delivered, then anonymized.

How long it takes

Most of it happens immediately. We aim to finish every request within 30 days.
